Scholarship system

Scholarships

 Our scholarship system encompasses the Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship and other scholarships from local governments, companies and private organizations. We offer grant scholarships and loan scholarships. Grant scholarships need not be paid back, but loan scholarships do.

 Notifications concerning applications and other matters relating to the scholarships will be posted on the bulletin boards.

  1. (1) Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship (Loan)
     The Institution recommends to JASSO students whom we have identified as excelling in personality and academic pursuits, who are healthy and who have difficulty in enrollment due to financial reasons. The students we recommend may be approved by JASSO and be eligible to receive a loan. See the details on the application notice to be posted.
  2. (2) Other scholarships
     There are scholarships from local governments and various corporations. Application notices are posted on the bulletin board as they arrive.

Exemption from and Reduction in Tuition Fees, Paying Tuition Fees in Installments

  1. (1)Exemptions from and reductions in tuition due to financial reasons [For Japanese, including permnent residents, students]
      Students experiencing exceptional financial hardship in paying for tuition may apply to be exempt from tuition fees or have them reduced. Applications are accepted every first half (first and second quarters) and second half (third and fourth quarters).
  2. (2)Exemption from and reduction in tuition fees [For foreign students]
    To assist in enrollment, we offer a system of exemption from or reduction in tuition fees for foreign students. Applications are accepted every first half (first and second quarters) and second half (third and fourth quarters).
  3. (3)Paying tuition in installments due to financial reasons
    Students who, for financial reasons, have difficulty paying semiannual tuition fees in full may apply to make three installments every first half (first and second quarters) and second half (third and fourth quarters).
  4. (4)Exemption from and reduction in tuition fees for top-ranking students.
    The Institution provides a system of exemption from and reduction in tuition fees for top-ranking students. This system applies every half year, excluding the first half of a student's first year.

The above exemptions or reductions are subject to regurations and conditions on each year.
